Cesar Casier Interview

Cesar Casier lives in Ghent, Belgium and has already done a fatty pile of cool work. He’s walked for Dior Homme & Louis Vuitton. His name is Cesar. He’s recently been the new face of DSquared along with Lara Stone and Kerry Degman, shot by Mert Marcus & Alas Piggott. Cesar has worked with Jolijn Snijders / ILOVEFAKE. Those four things alone are damn impressive. If you don’t mind Cesar, help me fucking get in touch (literally) with Lara Stone. We’ll get to that later though… Let’s do work. (Cesar Casier decidedly chose not to answer all my questions, but I left the interview in it’s rawest version so you could imagine some answers yourself… Who doesn’t love a mystery?) Trey Taylor: Cesar! Can you please fill us in on your existence — all the way back to your childhood.
Cesar Casier:

TT: What do think about getting paid based on how you look? Do you find the fashion industry brutal at times?
CC:

TT: How did you become a model? If it’s a lame story feel free to make one up.
CC: My mom showed some pics of me to a scout from Dominique models in Belgium and that’s how everything started…

TT: What was it like working with Mert & Marcus? Duos are so cool. And more importantly, how was it to work with Lara Stone?
CC: I LOVED working with Mert and Marcus!  it was a night shoot and it was in a disco so we were all in a fun mouth! :) was really nice. Lara was also very nice to work with… but she was very focused! she really did a great job! you can tell she is a TOP model!

TT: Name five people that you’d love to meet slash work with.
CC:

TT: If you were casting yourself in some campaign, why would you choose yourself?
CC:

TT: How do you stay so good looking? Soap? Weights?
CC: Just be myself and try to eat as healthy as possible! AND sport!

TT: Is being a guy model hard?
CC: Sometimes it is… but i think a Girl model is harder.

TT: What do you want?
CC: I want to be happy and healthy for the rest of my life. And for my work I want people to know my name and to remember me as a great Working guy!

TT: If your life had a tagline, what would it be?
CC:

Thanks Cesar! You pretty much rock and sometimes people tell me I look like you. Okay, so that’s never happened but it would be cool if it did. We’re going to meet up one day. g
