Elisabeth Ouni Interview

Ouni has slept in tents, squished her way to the front row, checked all her exits, and planned as much as possible to get the perfect polaroid of a multitude of hip-hop artists. She’s shot N.E.R.D’s Pharrell Williams, Kid Cudi, Eve, The Roots, Busta Rhymes, and Snoop Dogg, among others. Besides this venture into a more passionate side of music, her efforts have brought her many opportunities. She recently was involved in a video for the Ones 2 Watch called The Visitors. How she finds the time to accomplish so many things is beyond me, but it’s truly an inspiration.
“You really have to do what you want. I know that you have to work, but maybe you can use your work to do what you want, eventually… If you have an idea, and it slumbers too long in your head, just do it. If it fails, it fails, but you learned from the experience.” All photos / Elisabeth Ouni.
