Gray Scott

So I just found out my all-time favourite photographer Gray Scott is looking for an intern. You can read the listing here. Little does he know that I would grovel at his feet and lick the crumbs off of his floor to be anywhere near his creative genius. I so wish I lived in New York City. Anybody out there looking for a roommate who probably wouldn’t be able to pay his rent, hit up the submit a link button because it goes directly to my email. Anyways, I thought I’d do an ode to the “duotone” (or at least that’s what I’d call it), because Gray Scott is an amazing wielder of light. The use of gels to make a colour tone or more than one colour, is, in my opinion, something of beauty. Here are a few examples, of which only a few are done by Gray Scott.
